Should have a law to mention no business allow to bid COE of motorcycle, only individual fall within the range of income and hold Singaporean citizenship or 3rd Singapore PR without any COE within period of 3 years allow to bid motorcycle COE, anyone currently hold COE of A, B and D should be disqualified to bid motorcycle COE.

Rules are FAIR TO EVERYONE

1. Should have 2 categories of Motorcycle COE, 300cc below and 300cc above.

2. Indvidual who have higher monthly income and owning more than average Singaporean's wealth should be disqualified to bid Motorcycle COE 300cc below.

Singapore policy will unlikely to change. With the current system. It's making the middle class folks suffer. It's either you make it rich or you get poorer. Maybe in another 10-20years, SG will have no middle class folks and SG ppl will likely be the ones taking left over jobs and foreigners taking the better jobs. Sad to see the downfall of Singapore where LKY has built up. COE and ERP is just one source of system where the govt make money and not a proper solution to the existing problem.

At least citizens must have some discount mAh , cos our land . Corporate and outsider pay bidded price , but SG citizens maybe get a prorated discount based on age at least say 55+ retirees or something like that am sure can be done if want to.

I sincerely do not understand why so many people are blaming the government for high COE prices. On the contrary, I am thankful to the government for having such a convenient public transport system for people who cannot afford their own vehicle. Owning a car is a luxury and not a necessity. Who does not wish to indulge in luxuries and live in comfort? You can choose to take the public transport if you cannot afford a car. Just like I wear a Casio because I cannot afford Rolex and carry an Adidas because I cannot afford LV.
