March 2026 COE Results 1st Bidding: The COE pony ended its CNY with new increases in premiums across the board, particularly Category B which went up by almost 9 percent
In the first COE bidding exercise of March 2026, Cat A closed at $108,220; Cat B closed at $114,002; Cat C closed at $76,000; Cat D closed at $8,602; while Cat E closed at $114,890.
Cat A (car up to 1600cc & 130bhp, and EV with up to 110kW) received 1,762 bids for 1,268 COEs and its premium climbed by $1,719. Category A COE closed at $108,220.
Cat B (car above 1600cc or 130bhp, and EV with more than 110kW) received 1,261 bids for 815 COEs and its premium climbed by $9,001. Category B COE closed at $114,002.
Cat C (goods vehicle and bus) received 488 bids for 290 COEs and its premium increased by $1,001. Category C COE closed at exactly $76,000.
Cat D (motorcycle) received 643 bids for 545 COEs and its premium increased by $613. Category D COE closed at $8,602.
Lastly, Cat E (all vehicles except motorcycle) received 514 bids for 245 COEs and climbed by $2,000. Category E COE closed at $114,890.
