Tesla Has Finally Delivered Its First Few Model 3s in Singapore

Just a month after Tesla announced setting up a service centre in Toa Payoh, the firm has finally delivered its first few Model 3s here in Singapore.
On Thursday morning (29 July 2021), the delivery of the Tesla Model 3s began at Tesla's almost finished-up service centre at Toa Payoh Lorong 8, formerly occupied by Tan Chong Motor's Nissan dealership.
The first pool of customers collected their Model 3, five months after the American electric-car maker opened its sales portal. As reported in The Straits Times, only a handful were collected, however, there will be more over the next few days.

There are two variants available for the Singaporean market - 377kW Tesla Model 3 Performance and 239kW Model 3 Standard Range.
The Performance variant has a Worldwide Harmonised Light Vehicle Test Procedure (WLTP) tested range of 567km. The dual-motor all-wheel-drive system offers a century sprint in 3.3 seconds.
The Model 3 Standard variant offers a range of 448km, goes from zero to 100km/h in 5.6 seconds. Power is sent to the rear wheels via the electric motors.

To further make its presence known in Singapore, Tesla has recently set up their V3 Superchargers at Orchard Point, which are exclusive for Tesla owners only. The firm plans to install more charging points in Singapore in the coming months for the growing number of Tesla owners.
