CUPRA Joins Volkswagen Group Singapore!

Spanish performance brand CUPRA will now be represented by Volkswagen Group Singapore.

From today onwards, Spanish performance car manufacturer CUPRA will no longer be managed by Vertex Automobile, with Volkswagen Group Singapore (VGS) taking over the brand's distribution. VGS will also become the authorised service centre for SEAT, another Volkswagen Group-owned Spanish carmaker. Existing CUPRA and SEAT owners can now service and repair their cars at Volkswagen Group Singapore, at 247 Alexandra Road, Singapore 159934.

As Vertex Automobile ceases its distribution of CUPRA and eventually SEAT cars, this marks the end of the retail of SEAT cars in Singapore. This means that cars like the SEAT Alhambra, Ateca, and the impressive Ibiza — which won our Motorist Car of the Year award last year, will no longer be available for purchase brand-new. 

According to Dr. Kurt Leitner, Managing Director, Volkswagen Group Singapore, "We are proud to welcome CUPRA and SEAT owners to Volkswagen Group Singapore, where we now service the Volkswagen Group’s volume brands all under one roof.

To welcome the SEAT and CUPRA family, Volkswagen Group Singapore is offering aftersales promotions for existing owners, ranging from complimentary health checks to service vouchers.
