mReview: Volkswagen Golf 1.5 eTSI R-Line - Almost a Hole-in-One

Editors%2 Fimages%2 F1663322473213 1663322473213The Golf. Like its venerable Beetle predecessor, this model barely needs any introduction. After all, it’s been on the market for almost half a century, stirring hearts and souls along the way, especially in its spicy GTI or R flavours.

So when Volkswagen unveiled the R-Line for its eighth-generation Golf, we were left wondering: would it be a hole-in-one with all the fun and charisma possessed by its hot hatch siblings, or would it be a misread putt, being merely a cash-grabbing exercise with superficial trim add-ons?

With LTA's latest review on Electronic Road Pricing (ERP) rates, selected gantries along the AYE, PIE and CTE have their prices increased by $1.

Based on LTA’s monitoring of traffic conditions in August 2022, traffic has built up at various stretches of expressways. To manage congestion at these locations, ERP rates will be adjusted by $1.00 with effect from 19 September 2022 at 5 locations during 5 specified time periods.

Pagani Unveils Utopia, The Long Anticipated Huayra Successor

The Pagani Utopia is the long awaited successor to the outgoing Huayra, and bucks the trend of electrification that so many manufacturers are embarking on right now.

Motorist Car Buyer's Guide: Nissan Serena e-POWER Hybrid

Editors%2 Fimages%2 F1663322415175 1663322415174Built as Nissan’s junior MPV, the Serena came with its own set of quirks. With a name derived from the Latin meaning of tranquil and pleasant, does it live up to its name?

Built to comply with specific regulations set by the Japanese Vehicle Classifications, the Nissan Serena is restricted in length, width, height and engine capacity, as spelt out by the Japanese Government’s Road Vehicle Act of 1951.

But what should you look out for before buying one?
