If I renew my COE for another 10 years but decide to deregister and scrap my vehicle after 2 years, will I receive a refund for the unused COE period? If so, what percentage of the COE rebate will I get, and will the refund be issued by LTA or another party?

Yes, you may be eligible for a pro-rated COE rebate if you scrap the vehicle early. Please check directly with LTA via this link:
