It’s December now and we would like to congratulate you for surviving the past 11 months of 2020. It’s been a tough year, with COVID being the most problematic experience of all.
Thankfully, Ah Kong has given all Singapore citizens above 18-years-old $100 worth of digital vouchers that can be used for attractions, hotels, and tours. Given out in $10 denominations, the digital vouchers can be redeemed through SingPass from 1 December 2020 till 31 June 2021.
If you are unsure on how to wisely spend them, here are our recommendations.
Ola Beach Club

Miss your summer beach vacation at Bali because of the lockdown? Never mind, there’s Ola Beach Club instead. Located at Siloso Beach in Sentosa, you can partake in a bunch of water activities like kayaking, stand up paddleboard, banana boat, and jetblading. Water activities not your thing? No worries, you can always choose to soak up the sun and chill with cocktails in hand. Find out more on what they offer here.
Wild Wild Wet

Wild Wild Wet has been around since the 2000s and its been given several facelifts in recent years, adding more slides and attractions that put Adventure Cove to shame. It’s located at Downtown East in Pasir Ris. Westies might frown at the journey to get there, but the money is definitely well-spent for a full day splashing around.

Hotels
Staycations are a favourite activity among Singaporeans. Now that we have these vouchers, most of us are likely to book a night or two at various hotels in Singapore. There are over 140 hotels that allow the use of SingapoRediscover Vouchers but we picked what we think are the best ones.
Marina Bay Sands

A favourite amongst locals and tourists alike, a night at MBS may cost you over $300 but the view that you get is immaculate. Walking around the Marina Bay area at night and looking over the edge of the iconic Infinity Pool are a musts when you spending a night. If those aren’t your thing, you can always head over to The Shoppes for an enjoyable retail experience. Click here to find out more about MBS.
Capitol Kempinski

The next hotel we have is perfect for the ’gram. In fact, the entire facade of the hotel makes you feel like you’re taking a trip to the early 20th century in Singapore. The Capitol Kempinski is within walking distance to many other attractions like Fort Canning Park, St Andrews Cathedral, Chijmes, and Esplanade. Although its slightly pricer, starting at $600 a night, you are guaranteed to enjoy a night out in town. To find out more about the hotel, click here.
M Social Singapore

The last hotel we recommend gives off the vibes of New York City with its loft-inspired rooms. For those who don’t know what a loft is, it’s basically a room with an upper story, usually where the sleeping area is. Their loft rooms start at $377, and are perfect for picture-taking. However, if you want something more affordable you could opt for their Alcove rooms, which start at $188.
It’s located near the Singapore River, so it’s a good option for those who enjoy taking relaxing strolls. You can also use their rooftop pool and fitness center during your stay. With the use of the SingapoRediscover Vouchers, M Social Singapore is definitely a good deal. Click here to find out more.
