From rum-soaked pastries to savoury sourdough dishes, Burnt Ends Bakery has unveiled a refreshed menu to mark the one-year milestone of Audi Singapore's downtown brand home at 18 Cross Street.

Launched in the first quarter of 2025, Audi House of Progress, which operates beyond a traditional showroom, has featured 18 new model launches, hosted 20 exclusive events, and facilitated nearly 900 test drives.

Burnt Ends Bakery and its counterpart, GT Bar, have also served over 60,000 beverages since the launch.

To mark the partnership’s first birthday, the bakery has released a refreshed menu featuring four additional sweet bakes and three savoury dishes, building on crowd favourites like the sourdough doughnuts.

According to Michelin-starred chef Dave Pynt, the new creations were inspired by the guests who visited the lifestyle space over the year - from CBD workers dropping by for lunch, to bakery fans making a beeline for the pastries.

While the original menu offers classic staples like croissants and sourdough, the new additions retain their German inspiration while being adapted to our local taste preferences - “not too sweet, very nice”.

Sweet treats for the sweet tooth

Raisin lovers will appreciate the Apple Rum & Raisin Escorgot ($8), a standout among the sweet bakes. Crisp golden layers are rolled with vanilla curd and tender apples, then loaded with rum-soaked raisins, giving the pastry a fragrant kick without leaving you tipsy.

For something more indulgent, the Black Forest Cruffin ($12) pairs flaky pastry with dark chocolate and vanilla cream, finished with a kirsch-soaked cherry on top.

The German waffles ($6) offer a light, crispy bite, best enjoyed with an optional dollop of vanilla chantilly cream ($2).

For foodies who enjoy warm spiced flavours, the Apple Strudel Cake ($10) is perfect with its construction of cinnamon apple compote, Biscoff cream cheese frosting, toasted almonds, and buttery streusel crumble.

Hearty savoury dishes

Among the savoury options, the Black Forest Ham & Pretzel Sandwich ($18) is a hearty option for lunch, with smoked ham tucked into a toasted pretzel bun, layered with a refreshing variety of greens, cheeses, and mustard.

Other highlights include the Bavarian Sausage & Onion sourdough ($14) drenched in red wine onion sauce, and Chicken & Leek Wrap ($14) packed with juicy chicken and fresh greens.

While the refreshed menu marks the partnership’s first anniversary, the new Burnt End items will remain permanent, exclusive to Audi House of Progress Singapore.
