September 2018 COE Results 2nd Bidding: Cat A & B Premiums Continue to Fall

In the 2nd COE bidding exercise for September 2018, premiums for Cat A and B fell to $28,000 and $31,307 respectively. COE premiums for motorcycles also experienced a slight drop.

Closed today at 4pm, the 2nd COE bidding exercise for September 2018 saw the quota premium for Cat A (Cars up to 1600CC & 97KW) fall to a fair $28,000. This is a $2,209 difference from the bidding exercise two weeks ago.

Cat B (Cars above 1600CC or 97KW) also saw a decrease, albeit slightly lesser than Cat A. The difference is $694, dropping from $32,001 to $31,307.

For Cat C (Goods vehicles & buses), this category saw a slight increase of $103, from $27,001 in the previous exercise to $27,104.

In Cat D, premiums for Motorcycles saw a slight drop in prices, from $4,390 to $4,214 — a $176 difference.

Last but not least, Cat E (Open category) saw a small increment of $199, from $31,801 in the last exercise to $32,000.
