Jetour makes a splash in Singapore with Vincar Group as authorised distributor

China's SUV-focused automaker Jetour enters the Singapore market with Vincar and the T1, which is set to make its local debut at the Singapore Motorshow in January 2027. Vincar will subsequently introduce Jetour's T2 plug-in hybrid (PHEV), with an EV model to follow suit.

Jetour's local line-up will kick off with the T1 SUV, which is scheduled to make its Singapore debut at the Singapore Motorshow in January 2027.

The T1 will be followed by the larger and more rugged Jetour T2 PHEV AWD, a plug-in hybrid with grippy all-wheel drive. A full battery-electric model is also in the pipeline for Singapore, though the exact model has not been confirmed (at time of publishing).

Further details such as the model range, specifications and launch timelines are expected to be released in due course. Vincar has confirmed that its Jetour showroom will be at 24 Leng Kee Road.

Jetour, part of Chery Automobiles, has built its identity around SUVs, with a range spanning family-oriented suburban models and rugged vehicles designed for outdoor adventures.

The brand's identity is built around its “Travel+” philosophy, which places travel and outdoor experiences at the centre of its vehicle development, hence its name combines "Jet" and "Tour" to evoke feelings of travelling and exploration.

Jetour's lifestyle-driven approach has helped the automaker expand its international footprint, with the brand now present in more than 100 markets, accumulating global sales of over two and a half million vehicles.

The brand has also gained traction in Southeast Asia. Across the border in Malaysia, Jetour delivered over 5,000 vehicles in the first half of 2026, nearly double of its 2025 sales figures.

The Jetour T2 PHEV AWD is set to arrive after the T1's launch early next year.

With its Singapore debut, Jetour joins the increasingly competitive local SUV market, where Chinese automakers are expanding their presence with a growing selection of both electrified and hybrid models.
