Hi Ken, thanks for submitting your question. Unfortunately, drivers are required to have at least two years of driving experience before they can apply for the Private Hire Car Driver’s Vocational Licence.

I may have misread your question. A PHV may have a P-Plate, but the driver providing the service cannot be a P-Plate driver.
