I can't add my vehicle in the Motorist app. What's the issue?

Hi Alex,

LTA has recently updated their system. To retrieve your vehicle details for a quote, we now need a Singpass-generated Access Code.

Here’s a simple step-by-step to generate it (takes just 1–2 mins):

How to generate your LTA Access Code:

1. Go to https://onemotoring.lta.gov.sg (https://onemotoring.lta.gov.sg/)

2. Tap “Digital Services”

3. Select “Request Access Code”

4. Log in using your Singpass

5. Select your vehicle

6. Enter your mobile number

7. Tick to agree and tap “Request Access Code”

You’ll see the Access Code on screen and it will be sent via SMS (valid for 14 days).

If you are driving a leased or rented vehicle, you'll have to perform the following to add your vehicle into the Motorist App:

1) Enter the licence plate number of the vehicle

2) Input Access code, you may retrieve the Access Code by logging in using your company’s Singpass via the following link: https://onemotoring.lta.gov.sg.

3) Click on 'Add Vehicle'.
