If you are using a Private Hire Car (R10) for personal use, you can apply under the insurance for passenger car (P10).

However, you would need to inform and declare to the respective insurer that the Private Hire Car (R10) will be used for personal use and not ride hailing services.

In such case, there will not be any price differences between the car insurance for passenger car (P10) VS self-driven private hire car (R10)
