The Hyundai IONIQ Electric Is Now Available at Shell Thomson Novena for a Contactless Test Drive

Hyundai's sole distributor, Komoco Motors, has recently introduced the ‘Hyundai Electric Motion’, an initiative that allows you to book a contactless test drive of a Hyundai IONIQ Electric at Shell Thomson Novena.
Komoco Motors and Shell have collaborated as part of their continuous effort to educate the public on how electric cars and charging stations work.
From now till 22 September 2021, a Hyundai IONIQ Electric can be picked up and returned at Shell Thomson Noven service station. Customers can expect more of such services rolling out at more Shell stations in the coming months.
Shell welcomes all drivers to experience their Shell Recharge system, strategically located across 18 Shell service stations islandwide. The firm promises a quick top-up to allow users to get to their next destination without having any range anxiety.
Komoco Motors is aware of the current COVID-19 situation. Test drives are completely contact-free, without the presence of a sales representative, giving you peace of mind.
Safe measures have also been put in place to reduce the risk of transmission. Booking schedules are well spaced out with 60 minutes of intervals between each contactless test drive, ensuring that individuals have time to complete and leave without meeting the next party.
Additionally, every test car will have a sanitiser that releases a safe and odourless dry vapour every 20 seconds to kill microbes in the air and on all surfaces.
How Does It Work?
It is open to the public, so drivers can book a 60-minute test drive through the Hyundai Electric Motion website by following the steps below:
1. Select your preferred location, date and time. Then click 'Search'.
2. Available test drive vehicle(s) will be shown on the screen.
3. Select your preferred vehicle.
4. Re-select another date or time if your preferred vehicle and slot is not
available.
