Borneo Motors Launches the Toyota Camry Hybrid; Priced from S$132,888

Marrying comfort and unprecedented performance with the new 2.5L self-charging hybrid powertrain, the new Toyota Camry Hybrid claims to deliver a breakthrough drive experience unlike earlier generations of Camrys.
Borneo Motors has launched two variants of the new Camry Hybrid: Standard (S$132,888), and Elegance (S$148,888).
Both models share the same 2.5 litre Dynamic Force Engine and Hybrid System, giving a combined output of 207hp.
The Camry Hybrid uses an e-CVT transmission and delivers a century sprint timing of 8.5 seconds, with a top speed of 180km/h.

The latest generation Camry is also a product of the Toyota New Global Architecture (TNGA) design and engineering philosophy. TNGA places enthusiast-oriented ‘fun to drive’ characteristics and alluring styling on an equal footing with excellent build quality, reliability and safety in the New Toyota Camry Hybrid.
The New Toyota Camry Hybrid also features the Heads-up Display and Blind Spot Monitor System on the Elegance trim, and both trims come with Toyota Safety Sense, a suite of advanced safety fixtures that offer a greater peace of mind while driving.

In terms of trim, the Elegance variant is distinguished from the Standard with additional exterior and interior options. The Camry Hybrid Elegance gets a sporty front bumper and rear spoilers, 18” aluminium rims, and dual exhaust pipes. In the cabin, the Elegance is also further enhanced with leather stitching on the steering wheel, shift lever and knob, and seat cover.
