Following the success of its brand new 4 Series Coupe, BMW’s all-new convertible promises the same energy and sportiness, all in an open-top car.

With its blend of sporting driving pleasure and open-air thrills, the BMW 4 Series Convertible builds on a long-standing tradition in this model class that began 35 years ago, with the launch of the first-generation BMW 3 Series Convertible.

A distinctive exterior package

With its dynamically stretched proportions, the all-new BMW 4 Series Convertible clearly announces its class-leading sporting prowess built for exclusive driving pleasure.

The large and unique vertically emphasised BMW kidney grille takes centre stage on the nose of the car, making it a definite head-turner.

Full-LED headlights are fitted as standard, with the option of Adaptive LED Headlights with BMW Laserlight. The rear lights are stylishly darkened, with their rear bars illuminating uniformly to reproduce the L-shape familiar from other BMW models.

Elegant roofline

The car has a low-to-the-road look that exudes sporting flair, with its precise body lines combining to give the car a muscular appearance, particularly with the roof down.

The soft top marries the strengths of a retractable hardtop and the puristic appeal of a fabric roof, thereby combining the best of both worlds. The roof is able to open or close within 18 seconds at the push of a button, including while on the move at speeds up to 50 km/h.

The roof will be available in Black as standard and Anthracite Silver effect as an option.

Lush and sporty Interior

The blend of sportiness and elegance is carried through into the design of its cabin. The driver-centric cockpit design is further enhanced by the 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster and 10.25-inch Control Display, creating an enveloping environment for the driver.

Standard features include sports seats with automatically extending and retracting belt feeders, Vernasca leather trim and a leather steering wheel. A wealth of top-quality optional extras can also be added to further enhance both the car’s comfort and individual sense of style.

Electronic Safety Systems

A wide selection of driver assistance systems serves to boost comfort on long journeys and increase safety. Park Distance Control with sensors at the front and rear, Front Collision Warning, Lane Departure Warning, and Speed Limit Information systems are all now fitted as standard.

The vehicle’s operating system also supports Android Auto in addition to Apple CarPlay.

Performance

The BMW 4 Series will launch with two variants, both with four-cylinder petrol engines coupled with BMW’s TwinPower Turbo that enhances efficiency.

The engine generates an output of 184hp in the BMW 420i Convertible M Sport and 258hp in the BMW 430i Convertible M Sport Pro.

DriveTrain

The eight-speed Steptronic Sport transmission comes as standard on all variants in Singapore and offers even sharper shift dynamics and efficiency.

The newly introduced Sprint function prompts the powertrain and shift characteristics to maximise dynamic performance when putting in a sudden burst of speed or overtaking.
