Good news aspiring drivers! You may resume your practical driving lessons at driving centres from 22 June 2020 onwards!

For the unfortunate handful of learner drivers, we hope you haven’t forgotten what you have learned prior to the Circuit Breaker period.

Now that driving centres are open again, it’s time to resume where you left off and finally obtain that much desired driving licence!

Without further ado, here is everything you need to know about the reopening of the three major driving centres in Singapore.

1) Singapore Safety Driving Centre (SSDC)

Available for booking or cancellation:

  • Motorcar practical lessons
  • Motorcycle practical lessons
  • Traffic Police Practical Tests

Safety measures taken:

  • Counter service will not be available for booking and cancellations. Online booking and cancellations only.

*Do note that theory test dates are based on first-come-first-serve basis and there will be no refund for the cancellation of theory tests.

2) Bukit Batok Driving Centre (BBDC)

Available for booking or cancellation:
  • Motorcar practical lessons
  • Motorcycle practical lessons
  • Traffic Police Practical Tests

*Do not that theory tests are based on first-come-first serve basis.

Customers whose Traffic Police Practical Tests were affected by the Circuit Breaker measures will be given a new test date. The test time will remain unchanged, unless it is unavailable. Affected school customers will be contacted via phone call on their new practical test date.

For private customers, kindly liaise directly with your Private Driving Instructor instead.

3) ComfortDelGro Driving Centre (CDC)

Available for booking or cancellation:

  • Motorcar practical lessons
  • Motorcycle practical lessons
  • Traffic Police Practical Tests

Safety measures taken:

  • Mandatory SafeEntry check-in and check-out by scanning QR code at the Main Lobby.
  • Temperature screening for all visitors at Main Lobby. Visitors who are unwell (including having a fever) will not be allowed to enter the premises,
  • Face masks to be worn at all times.
  • Course enrollment and booking of appointments must be done online. Walk-ins will not be available
  • On the day of your appointment, please come alone
  • Instructor Coaching shields will be installed in all training cars

Students who have paid for the Traffic Police Theory and Practical Tests in June will receive a refund into their store-value account.

Priority booking of the Traffic Police Practical Tests will be available to students who were affected by the suspension of CDC services (from 7 April to 13 June 2020).

Students with original test dates from 7 April to 4 May 2020 can book their Practical Tests from 18 June to 6 July 2020.

Students with original test dates from 5 May to 13 June 2020 can book their Practical Tests from 7 July to 13 July 2020

Other students who did not book their Traffic Police Practical Tests between 7 April to 13 June 2020, may start booking their test from 14 July 2020 onwards.

*The validity of all Provisional Driving Licence/Final Theory Test/Riding Theory Test will be extended until 4 September 2020.
