Vincar Group and Proton reach their 100-unit milestone with the e.MAS 7 electric SUV from Malaysia.

After more than a decade away, the Malaysian automaker is back on the roads of Singapore – this time around with an electric push.

Distributed by Vincar Group, Proton has made 100 deliveries of its e.MAS 7 electric SUV across Singapore in just half a year since its official debut in September 2025.

This milestone marks a notable first for Malaysia’s automotive industry, with the e.MAS 7 becoming the country’s first national electric vehicle to take to Singapore roads. It also underscores Proton’s return to the market after an 11-year absence.

Drawing inspiration from Malaysia's national animal, the Malayan tiger, the practical e.MAS 7 makes a bold first impression with its striking tiger-eye LED headlights, flowing aerodynamic lines, and a 3D full-length LED tail design featuring 274 integrated light sources.

At over 4.6 metres in length, with one of the longest wheelbases in its class at 2.7 metres, the SUV commands presence on the road while offering a spacious and comfortable cabin.

Beyond its good looks and impressive comfort, the e.MAS 7 is also a balance of intelligence, performance and safety.

It delivers robust performance, featuring a 60kWh LFP battery that provides a range of up to 410 kilometres, with DC charging from 30% to 80% in just twenty minutes.

Safety is also a key highlight, with a 5-star ASEAN NCAP rating and a comprehensive suite of driver-assistance features, including adaptive cruise control, automatic emergency braking, and lane-keeping assist.

Drivers can also enjoy the car's Geely Flyme Auto infotainment, utilising the voice assistant for hands-free control of navigation, media, and vehicle settings with just the command “Hello, Proton”.

Vincar Group is set to expand the Proton lineup with the e.MAS 5 and e.MAS 7 PHEV. The e.MAS 5 offers a more compact, city-friendly electric option, while the e.MAS 7 PHEV will introduce plug-in petrol-electric hybrid capability to the lineup, offering greater flexibility for drivers not yet ready to go fully electric.

“The e.MAS 7’s 100-delivery milestone is a strong foundation for what’s ahead. With the e.MAS 5 and the e.MAS 7 PHEV joining our lineup later this year, we are committed to offering Singapore drivers a comprehensive range of electric and electrified options that are accessible, capable, and built for everyday life”, said Ernest Tan, deputy CEO of Vincar Group.
