Volt Auto receives 2025 Marketing Innovation Award from Dongfeng China
The China state-owned automaker singled out the Singapore Dongfeng distributor from more than 100 international markets for the prestigious award.
At the Dongfeng 2026 Passenger Vehicle Global Partnership Summit in the Chinese port city of Xiamen, Singapore’s Dongfeng distributor Volt Auto sailed ahead with an award from the China state-owned automaker which is currently on an export push.
The event brought together more than 1,000 attendees from over 100 countries and regions, who convened to explore new paths of collaboration and drive Dongfeng’s global development blueprint.
Flashing a Little Red Dot of light on said blueprint is Volt Auto, which brought Dongfeng to Singapore as a Chinese EV brand focused on affordability with the Box electric supermini. The company then introduced the 007, a cost-effective fastback for businessmen who know all about dollars and sense. 
Volt Auto’s sales initiatives, marketing activities and EV ecosystem partnerships in the Singapore context so far have been fruitful and successful. Examples include the sponsorship of the Young Lions football team in the Singapore Premier League 2025/2026 season, selling a new electric car via livestream, and the local launch of Dongfeng 007 by global superstar Jessica Jung.
The Dongfeng China principal presented the 2025 Marketing Innovation Award to Volt Auto founder and managing director Soh Ming as an official “recognition of the company’s bold creativity, data-driven strategies, and consistent commitment to elevating the Dongfeng brand across Singapore and Southeast Asia”.
