January 2020 COE Results: Quota Premium Rises Across All Categories

Motorist Coe Results 1st Bidding January 2020

In the first COE exercise for 2020, quota premiums rose across all categories. In this exercise, Cat A closed at $35,320, Cat B at $37,109, and Cat E at $38,000.

With 1,450 received bids, Cat A (Cars up to 1600CC & 97KW) closed at $35,320 — an $2,431 increase from the last exercise in December 2019.

For Cat B (Cars above 1600CC or 97KW), it closed at $37,109. It received 1,229 bids in total and closed $1,109 higher.

Cat C (Goods Vehicle & Bus) closed at $24,402, It is $1,202 higher from the previous exercise.

For Cat D (Motorcycles), it ended $331 higher, at $3,989.

Lastly, for Cat E (Open category), it received 541 bids and closed at $38,000, a slight increase of $11.
