16 car and bike clubs come together to donate $125,000 worth of food items for Heart on Wheels 2025
Heart on Wheels 2025 saw 260 vehicles from 16 car and bike clubs unite to donate nearly $125,000 worth of food items.
Organised in partnership between Food from the Heart (FFTH) and Wearnes Automotive, Heart on Wheels 2025 is the third edition of the food donation drive-thru event. This year’s donation drive took place on 1 and 2 March and saw over 33,300 food items worth nearly $125,000 donated to sustain FFTH’s food distribution programmes.
Brands under the Wearnes Automotive umbrella – Aston Martin, Bentley, Bugatti, Ducati, Harley-Davidson, Jaguar, Lotus, Polestar, Renault, and Volvo – mobilised their corporate networks, clients, and employees to contribute to the donation drive. Other independent car and bike clubs rallied and arrived in convoys to donate their food items as well.
Mr Eric Chua, Senior Parliamentary Secretary and Member of Parliament for Tanjong Pagar GRC (Queenstown), graced the event alongside volunteers from various Queenstown grassroots organisations. Together, they brought 1,000kg of food (13,700 items) in 24 shopping carts to contribute to the cause.
Since the first Heart on Wheels event in 2023, the initiative has raised over 54,500 food items and $129,000 in donations across 2023 and 2024. This year’s running of Heart on Wheels was also supported by the “Sponsor A Food Bundle” digital campaign that aimed to raise $50,000 worth of food bundle donations from individuals and businesses who couldn’t attend in person.
