March 2019 COE Results: Quota Premiums for Cars on the Rise

The Quota Premium for cars appears to be on the rise. In the first bidding exercise for March 2019, Cat A closed at $26,309, Cat B finished at $36,961, and Cat E ended at $37,620.

With 2,213 bids received, the Quota Premium (QP) for Cat A (Cars up to 1600CC & 97KW) went up by $8, from $26,301 to $26,309.

Cat B (Cars above 1600CC or 97KW) received 1,903 bids and ended at $36,961, from $35,403 previously.

For Cat C (Goods Vehicle & Bus), the premium went up by $96, from $26,914 to $27,010.

Cat D (Motorcycles) was the only category that fell in this exercise. It dropped by $87, from $3,689 to $3,602.

Last but not least, Cat E (Open category) received 689 bids and closed $953 higher. Premiums rose by $953, from $36,667 to $37,620.
