The 2024 edition of the Formula 1 Singapore Grand Prix will soon be upon us and as usual, there will be multiple road closures during race week. Follow this guide to stay up to date on which roads can and cannot be used.

This year’s Singapore Grand Prix will be held from 20 to 22 September 2024 around the Marina Centre and Padang area. Road closures will take place over seven days from 18 to 24 September 2024 to facilitate the event and all roads will be fully accessible by 5.30am on 24 September 2024. 

Commuters or F1 ticket holders travelling to the area are strongly encouraged to use public transport instead. Train services, except for the Bukit Panjang LRT and Changi Airport services, will also be extended on race weekend from 20 to 22 September. 

Train services will be available at City Hall MRT station until 12.30am on 20 and 21 September, and 12.45am on 22 September. Selected bus services that connect to MRT stations will also have their operating hours extended. 

To facilitate morning and evening peak hour traffic, the following roads will be opened at selected hours during closure period to reduce disruption to motorists.

During the road closure period, motorists can still access the Marina Centre area via Rochor Road to Temasek Boulevard. There is also a single lane along Raffles Boulevard via Nicoll Highway or Temasek Boulevard that can be accessed but only at the following timings.
