In the last COE bidding exercise for 2018, Quota Premiums ended mostly higher across the board. The premiums are: $25,501 for Cat A, $31,001 for Cat B, and $31,809 for Cat E.
With an outstanding 2,729 bids received, the Quota Premium (QP) for Cat A (Cars up to 1600CC & 97KW) shot up by $1,933, from $23,568 to $25,501.
For Cat B (Cars above 1600CC or 97KW), it was the only category that remained unchanged from the previous exercise. With 1,804 bids received, the COE stood at $31,001.
The only category that saw a dip is Cat C (Goods Vehicle & Bus). It closed $8 cheaper from the last exercise, from $27,009 to $27,001.
As for Cat D (Motorcycles), it ended $390 higher—from $3,399 to $3,789.
Lastly, for Cat E (Open category), the QP went up by $958 from the last exercise, from $30,851 to $31,809.
