The Singapore Land Transport Authority, or LTA, has announced that Electronic Road Pricing (ERP) rates are set to increase by S$1.00 in five locations, from 13 February 2023 onwards.
This is a response to increased traffic build-up along several sections of the expressways that LTA have observed in the month of January this year. According to the statutory board, the rates are set to rise during nine specified time periods.
The five affected locations, revised ERP rates, and specified times are as follows:
Location |
Updated Pricing and Timing |
Ayer-Rajah Expressway (AYE) after North Buona Vista towards Tuas
|
$2.00 (5:30 PM - 6:00 PM) $1.00 (7:00 PM - 7:30 PM) |
|
$5.00 (8:30 AM - 9:00 AM) $4.00 (9:00 AM - 9:30 AM) |
Southbound CTE auxiliary lane to PIE (Changi) / Serangoon Road |
$4.00 (9:00 AM - 9:30 AM)
$3.00 (9:30 AM - 10:00 AM)
|
Kallang-Paya Lebar Expressway (East Coast Parkway) after Defu Flyover |
$3.00 (7:30 AM - 8:30 AM) |
Westbound PIE before Eunos |
$1.00 (8:30 AM - 9:00 AM) |
These price adjustments come after another set of revisions were done last November, where three gantries along the AYE and PIE saw rate increases.
