EV drivers can subscribe for an account 48 hours before booking a free charging slot on the Bluecharge mobile application or website to ensure activation. Bluecharge’s annual subscription will typically set you back $20 a year. Outside of the promotion period, you will be billed $1/hour for the first three hours and $2/hour for the subsequent time. The chargers supply an average of 3.7kW of electric power, which can charge a 30kWh battery in 8 hours, and are compatible with vehicles with AC Type 2 sockets.
