EVs and PHEVs consume electricity which produces carbon dioxide (CO2) emission at the point of power generation. An emission factor of 0.4g CO2/Wh will be applied to the electricity energy consumption to compute the equivalent CO2 emission for EVs and PHEVs registered from 1 July 2017.
