What is the Emission Factor for Electric Vehicles (EVs) and Plug-in Hybrid Electric Vehicles (PHEVs) for the Vehicular Emissions Scheme (VES)?

EVs and PHEVs consume electricity which produces carbon dioxide (CO2) emission at the point of power generation. An emission factor of 0.4g CO2/Wh will be applied to the electricity energy consumption to compute the equivalent CO2 emission for EVs and PHEVs registered from 1 July 2017.
