A period of 1 year (max) or shorter, as determined by the Registrar, may be granted to each application. If a vehicle has been laid up for 3 consecutive years, no further lay up will be allowed. The vehicle must be re-licensed. Otherwise, it will be de-registered automatically. Once a vehicle is de-registered, it will not be allowed to be re-registered or re-licensed. Documentary evidence of disposal of the vehicle must then be submitted to LTA within 1 month of de-registration of the vehicle.
