I was involved in an accident with my my rental van. The guy asked for a private settlement because it's a minor accident. He said it will be much more cheaper than claiming from my insurance company because I may need to pay to the rental company more than the actual cost, it's a commercial van which I don't understand. Can anybody here who is experienced enough to explain in detail. Thank you.
