August 2020 COE Results 2nd Bidding: Prices Close Mostly Higher
In the 2nd COE bidding exercise for August 2020, Cat A closed at $35,710, Cat B at $38,802, and Cat E at $38,110.
With 2,099 bids received, Cat A (Cars up to 1600CC & 97KW) closed at $35,710, a sharp increase of $2,710.
Cat B (Cars above 1600CC or 97KW) also saw a significant increase. It received 1,727 bids and saw a rise of $1,700. It closed highest at $38,802.
Cat C (Goods Vehicle & Bus) closed $906 higher at $25,006. It received 586 bids.
Cat D (Motorcycles) is the only category that saw a decrease. With 797 bids, it closed $269 lower at $7,432.
Lastly, for Cat E (Open category), 764 bids were received, and a closing price of $38,110 was announced. It closed $1,608 higher than the previous exercise.
