Germans by the bay with Mercedes-Benz Studio Singapore
Mercedes-Benz Studio Singapore opens at Gardens by the Bay, bringing the brand’s global Studios concept to Southeast Asia for the first time through a space that combines automotive experiences, culture, creativity, lifestyle and community.
Mercedes-Benz has officially opened Mercedes-Benz Studio Singapore at Gardens by the Bay, marking the first Mercedes-Benz Studio in Southeast Asia.
The Studio brings Mercedes-Benz’s global Studios concept to Singapore as a new cultural and community destination where automotive experiences meet creativity, lifestyle and local collaborations.
It is one of 14 Mercedes-Benz Studios worldwide and the only one in Southeast Asia, joining a select network of locations comprising of Copenhagen, Delhi, Los Angeles, Madrid, Rome, Seoul, Shanghai, Stockholm, Sydney, Taipei, Tokyo, Toronto and Warsaw.
For Singapore, the global concept has been given a distinctly local setting, whereby the Mercedes-Benz Studio reflects our local vision of a “Garden City” through an intersection between nature, design and innovation.

The Studio comprises three interconnected spaces - Canvas, Commune and Courtyard - with distinct features to set them apart.
Canvas is a platform for creative expression, where Mercedes-Benz vehicles fuse with art and design through installations and collaborations with both local and regional creators.
Commune is part cafe and part social hub. Guests can discover Mercedes-Benz’s latest collaborations, products and innovations through curated experiences amongst a rotating calendar of culinary partnerships.
Courtyard is a communal space designed to inspire discovery and conversation through immersive installations and interactive activities.
Together, the three spaces are designed to bring the Mercedes-Benz “Welcome home” brand promise to life.
Marcel Perez, president and CEO of Mercedes-Benz Singapore, said: “We’re bringing the brand closer to the people and the city we serve, while showing where luxury is heading. A Mercedes-Benz has always been a place you feel at home the moment you step inside, and we wanted the Studio to evoke that same feeling. Every detail of this space was designed with warmth in mind.”

The Studio is also intended to give people ways to engage with Mercedes-Benz beyond its vehicles.
At the launch event, Marcel highlighted that the Studio will have lifestyle-related workshops and activations, with the aim of creating opportunities for people to connect with the marque even if they are not looking to buy a car.
This fits into the Studio’s wider programme of seasonal partnerships, product launches, cultural moments and community gatherings, which will continue to evolve.
The opening programme offers a first look at this approach.
At Canvas, a digital artwork by Singapore-based Metamo Industries titled “Liquid Studios Singapore” accompanies the vehicles on display.
At Commune, furnishings by local partners Commune and Stacked Store create a relaxed social setting, while the opening residency features Ferm, which reimagines traditional fermentation through a contemporary lens.
Over at Courtyard, the Studio’s first "Community Weekend" on 29 and 30 August brought together adidas Run Club, cycling lifestyle brand Rapha and wellness collective Tundra, alongside creative workshops by Studio Wilt and a live screen-printing experience by Tell Your Children.

The Mercedes-Benz Studio is presented as a cultural and community destination, rather than a conventional showroom.
The Studio is designed to offer new ways for customers, fans and the wider public to engage with Mercedes-Benz, while the automaker's vehicles form part of a wider programme of creative, lifestyle and community experiences.
While the Studio gives Mercedes-Benz a new presence at Gardens by the Bay, its purpose is more community-focused as opposed to sales, so if you're after the full Mercedes-Benz retail experience, you'll still have to head down to Mercedes-Benz Centre at Alexandra Road to buy your new tristar car.
Mercedes-Benz Studio Singapore is open to the public, with complimentary admission and no appointment required, though selected programmes are subject to advance registration or separate ticketing.
The Studio will be operational for at least a year, through Q3 2027, giving Singapore a unique Mercedes-Benz lifestyle destination at Gardens by the Bay for cars, culture, creativity and our community to come together.
