Singapore's cheapest petrol, way cheaper than Cnergy, will be launched on 31 April 2026.

The price is just one dollar per litre of 9.5-octane unleaded (untested). This cheap (and perhaps not so good) petrol will be sold in flimsy 4-litre bottles from supermarket shelves islandwide, so you can use your CDC vouchers to subsidise your cost of living/driving.

The precious fuel is carelessly formulated by a Motorist project team made up of the misguided editor, two unguided tech developers, a random intern and our pantry aunty.

The 3D-printed production plant is illegally located in the basement carpark of our office building and operated by ex-baristas, who are far better at brewing coffee than refining crude oil siphoned from dubious sources.

Our secret, eco-unfriendly petroleum formula includes uniquely Singaporean ingredients - old NEWater and expired Tiger Beer. Totally fresh, however, is the cooking oil, which is the same quality stuff used for zi char.

Apparently, Motorist app users who purchase a 4-litre bottle of our cheap 9.5-octane petrol on 31 April 2026 will get another bottle free!

"As someone interested in creativity and presentation tools, I recently came across https://www.havi.ai (Havi AI), and it looks like a promising platform for creating visualisations and slides quickly using AI. Tools like this are becoming really valuable for turning ideas into clear presentations without spending hours designing. Has anyone here tried using AI tools for building presentations or visual storytelling? I’d be curious to hear how they compare with traditional slide-creation workflows."
