Motorist Singapore gave away a brand-new Dongfeng electric car!

Congratulations to Mr Wong on winning the grand prize in our Motorist Mega Drive-away, and we hope you enjoy your brand-new Dongfeng!

In the grand finale to Motorist’s 10th anniversary Mega Drive-Away campaign, we selected a lucky winner live on Facebook to drive away a brand-new Dongfeng Box electric hatchback. After the first few calls to prospective winners went unanswered, Mr Wong, who was watching the livestream, picked up the golden call and claimed his prize. 

“I spoke to my parents, who were with me, then called all my relatives to tell them that I’ve won this prize. They couldn’t believe it, and we were all very happy”, said Mr Wong on what his reaction was immediately after receiving the winning call.

Mr Wong was in high spirits when he came to the Dongfeng showroom to receive his new car and eventually decided to upgrade from the Box he had originally won to the larger Dongfeng 007 electric sedan.

When asked why he chose to upgrade to the 007, Mr Wong said, “Even before the whole lucky draw, I was already eyeing the Dongfeng 007 because it’s very cool and spacious with crazy torque and speed.”

“I didn’t expect it, and I was very happy to have won the car. It’s the first time in my life that I’ve won a car in a lucky draw. It’s something that I’ll remember for the rest of my life, and I’m really grateful to Motorist and Volt Auto.”

We’d like to extend our congratulations once again to Mr Wong on his new car and thank everyone for supporting Motorist during this campaign and over the last decade.
