Motorists in the west can look forward to a more convenient inspection experience from 16 February 2026 as the JIC Inspection Centre relocates from Pioneer to a new, purpose-built facility in Jalan Papan.

From 16 February, the JIC Inspection Centre will officially open for business, having relocated from its Pioneer location to a new, state-of-the-art facility at 2E Jalan Papan, marking a significant upgrade for motorists and fleet operators in the west. 

The new centre is designed to support faster and more efficient vehicle inspections while maintaining the same service standards customers are familiar with.

Strategically located near the Ayer Rajah Expressway (AYE), the Jalan Papan facility offers improved accessibility for both private and commercial vehicle owners from Jurong, Pioneer, and surrounding areas. The centre features brand-new inspection bays and upgraded equipment, aimed at improving inspection flow and reducing waiting times during peak periods.

One of the new additions is the VExpress Priority Booking Lane, available for private cars. This allows motorists with advance bookings to enjoy a fast-tracked inspection process, a useful option for busy professionals seeking a smoother experience.

With its new facility, JIC continues to operate as a trusted vehicle inspection provider, focusing on safety, compliance, and reliability. Fleet managers and logistics operators will also benefit from the centre’s enhanced layout and capacity, which support higher throughput and operational efficiency.
