Hi Joanna, Appreciate the help to match my car with the highest bidder. It was all fuss-free, seamless and fast. I have tried to enquire to many dealers through their IG ads / fb ads. Most will come down for a car viewing only to deduct a few k here and few k there (typical claims of gearbox and clutch repair not knowing if they would really repair when they sell it on), making u wonder if you had wasted your time. This was where Motorist was different. Within a space of just 24 hours. I was matched with a decent bid with their dealer bidding platform. While not the highest I would have hoped for, it was decent enough and fair value. They were quick enough to arrange car viewing on day of the bid and we sealed the deal, all within the same day. But maybe just a short note that the dealer who bidded your car will try and ask for a discount. Didn't really like this point as I would have thought you will get the price they bidded for.
