Selling the car was really quite straightforward and easy. The bidding and valuation took about 1 day and we scheduled a viewing directly with the dealer. Definately we got more for the car versus the trade-in value so we are relatively satisfied with the whole process. However the only setback with the whole experience was that the dealer came to view, then picked points like vibration and paint job and other things in order to drive the price down. Which used cars wouldn’t have some minor wear? Saying need to deduct $900 to paint the car shouldn’t be my problem since you placed the highest bid based on the pictures submitted. Auction cars cannot even be driven to test, and the highest bid has to accept without any complaints. So I didn’t like the haggling after the bid price was agreed upon even though it’s allowed. Unless it is something serious like engine faults, gearbox, etc. if not I don’t see why the price needs to be haggled over used cars typical wear…
