We have partnered established workshops, Motorserv (operated under Shell Autoserv) and Autobacs, to offer a complimentary Pre-COE Inspection to help you find out if your vehicle is suitable for COE renewal. The Pre-COE Inspection package consists of a general inspection on the vehicle's exterior and interior, including a full diagnostic scan with electronic tools on all major systems including Engine, Transmission, Air-conditioning, Exhaust, Brakes and Clutches, Chasis and more. It will take approximately 30 to 45 minutes depending on your car's make and model. For your convenience, the complimentary Pre-COE Inspection is also available at more than 14 outlets island-wide.

Terms & Condition

• Available for all Motorist COE renewal & scrap customers
• This complimentary Pre-COE Inspection is only applicable for cars
• Only valid with official Motorist workshop partners at the point of the pre-COE inspection
• Eligible customers will pay for the retail/promo price of the pre-COE inspection to Motorist's workshop partners, Motorist will reimburse full payment upon completion of COE renewal OR scrap transaction
• Optional products/services that are not part of the pre-COE inspection package are not included
• Not valid with other promotions
• Customers will only be able to receive reimbursement if they choose to renew their COE/Scrap with Motorist within 6 months of their inspection
• Offer is only limited to 1 inspection per car plate number
• By accepting this complimentary Pre-COE inspection with official Motorist workshop partners, the customer agrees and undertakes to fully indemnify and hold Motorist and its shareholders, directors, officers and employees harmless from and against any claims, damages, losses, costs, liabilities and expenses (including legal fees and disbursements on a full indemnity basis) directly or indirectly caused by the complimentary Pre-COE inspection

• To be eligible, the Customer (as identified by their NRIC or FIN number) needs to obtain a COE loan quotation from Motorist within the last 7 days.
• All original loan documents must be submitted to Motorist for verification. Loan documents include signed loan agreement, approval advice, and LTA COE renewal letter. They must be received by Motorist within 7 days upon receiving a COE loan quotation from Motorist.
• By submitting the loan documents, the Customer agrees to authorise and grant Motorist the rights to collect, use and process their name, NRIC/FIN number, email address and other personal details, for the purposes of verifying the customer's COE loan and interest rate, and also for the administration of this promotion.
• This promotion is only valid for local bank loan interest rates and not applicable to non-MAS regulated financial institutions.
• If Motorist verifies that our quoted COE Loan Interest Rate is higher than the customer’s interest rate offered by his/her current financial institution, the customer will receive $50 within 30 days from our receipt of the loan documents.
• Each eligible Customer (as identified by their NRIC or FIN number and Vehicle Registration Number) can only receive the $50 once during this promotion. This promotion is invalid if our competitor is offering a one-time or limited interest rate offer to beat ours.
• This offer is not valid with any on-going or existing promotions, discounts, offers, vouchers, rebates or privileges.
• All employees of Motorist and their related companies, their immediate families, and persons living in the same household as the individual (whether related or not), are not eligible to participate in this offer.
• The terms and conditions of this offer may be amended by Motorist at any time without notice or incurring liability to any party.
