I recently purchased a used motorcycle with an aftermarket exhaust. The exhaust certificate is tied to the bike's registration number, but the previous owner decided to retain their number. As a result, I’ll be getting a new registration number for the bike.

Do I need to have the exhaust recertified since it now has a new registration number?

Hi Izzy Is! The exhaust certificate is tied to the vehicle's number. Since the bike will get a new number, it's best to check with LTA, you can contact their hotline number at 1800 2255 582 or the certification body to confirm if re-certification is needed.
