Hi Marcus S Tan, thank you for your question. To convert your car to a Chauffeured Private Hire Car (PHC), please follow these steps:

1) Login to OneMotoring > Digital Services > Convert Vehicle Type or Scheme, and enter your vehicle number.

2) If your vehicle has passed a periodic/conversion inspection within the last 3 months, proceed to pay the $100 administrative fee online to convert the vehicle scheme.

3) If not, an error message will guide you to access the conversion inspection advisory in your OneMotoring e-letter inbox.

4) Bring your vehicle to any AIC for inspection with the advisory. Once passed, repeat Step 1 and proceed to pay the $100 fee to convert.

After successful conversion, visit any AIC within 3 days to affix PHC decals to your vehicle’s front and rear windscreens.

Note: The driver must hold a valid Private Hire Car Driver's Vocational Licence (PDVL) and the vehicle must have valid motor insurance to operate P2P transport services.

For detailed information and the latest requirements, please check the LTA website: https://onemotoring.lta.gov.sg/content/onemotoring/home/owning/scheme-conversion.html or contact their hotline number at 1800 2255 582.
