Higher side railings may cause obstruction when loading and unloading goods on the lorry. Can I install removable side railings on my lorry?

You need to ensure that the removable side railings are of a design and construction approved by LTA and removable side railings are securely and rigidly attached to the sideboard when in use. If you are unsure whether the removable side railing is of a design and construction approved by the LTA, you may contact LTA’s Vehicle Engineering Division for verification. Please provide technical specifications of the removable side railings.
