Business Development Executive – Sabah (Contract - 6 Weeks)

Launched in late 2018, Motorist Malaysia is one of the fastest growing automotive brands in the country. At Motorist, our partners are pivotal in the success of our business, and constantly increasing the Partner base is key in our growth. With the rapid growth of our partner base, we are now seeking a Contract Sales & Account Executive to expand and manage our dealer Partners in Sabah with a focus on Kota Kinabalu and Sandakan.

Responsibilities

  • The Sales & Account Executive role is to help scale our Partner base from within Sabah, to become part of our Nationwide Partner Network.
  • You will be responsible for identifying potential Partners, meeting them, explaining our business and signing them up, ensuring they are onboarded quickly.
  • Apart from signing up and onboarding partners you will need to ensure Partners use the system daily and interact with the platform.
  • On a day-to-day basis this means you will be out on the road setting up meetings as well as doing walk in/cold calling with potential partners, as well as chasing up existing partners who are not using the platform.
  • You will be required to expand our network across the state.

Requirements

  • Experience in face-to-face selling
  • Experience in the Automotive industry would be desirable but not essential
  • A strong analytical mind
  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
  • A self-starter – someone who can demonstrate the willingness to succeed
  • A good team player who is passionate about everything they do
  • Willingness to travel throughout Sabah
  • Ability to use own transport
