Motorist Introduces New Season Parking Feature in its Vehicle Management App

Motorist App users will now receive reminders when their HDB season parking is about to expire. Users can even choose to renew it directly through the Motorist App.

Season parking is what helps motorists with long-term parking of their vehicle in any HDB carpark. Renewing or terminating it can be a nuisance for vehicle owners who don’t have GIRO. Therefore, to aid you in managing your HDB season parking, the Motorist App from Motorist, Singapore’s leading automotive platform, has introduced a new HDB season parking feature. This feature will notify you when your season parking is about to expire, as well as enable you to renew your season parking via AXS from just your phone.

Do take note that if you live in a private estate, this season parking feature won’t apply and you will not receive any notifications from the Motorist App.

This brand new update, found under the header 'Maintain' as seen in the image above, enables you to receive notifications whenever your monthly HDB season parking is about to expire. This feature will be able to act as a handy reminder for you with regards to the renewal of your season parking. Simply add a vehicle successfully to your Motorist account to get access to the new season parking reminder feature.

The HDB season parking feature will also be able to detect whether the payment for your season parking is under GIRO or not. If the payment of your season parking is under GIRO, you will not receive any notifications as payment happens automatically. On the occasion that you are not under GIRO, you will receive notifications when your season parking is about to expire.

Therefore once you have registered your vehicle in the Motorist App, you’ll be able to check your vehicle's HDB season parking expiry date, in addition to other details such as Road Tax expiry date and COE expiry date as seen in the image above. If the owner of your HDB season parking is not the same as the vehicle's owner, you’ll be able to add the official owner of the HDB season parking by keying in their NRIC on the 'Vehicle Details' page.

Our HDB season parking feature also enables you to renew your season parking through the Motorist App via AXS e-Station. This does away with the need to physically get out of your house to pay via the nearest AXS machine, as you will now be able to do it from the comfort of your room with just a few taps on your phone.
